“What is the use of living, if it be not to strive for noble causes and to make this muddled world a better place for those who will live in it after we are gone?”
Our goal as a company is to leave this world a little better, a little less muddled. We do that by turning “muddled” houses into nice homes. As those houses are sold to new owners, we earn a profit. Some of that profit goes to help those around us. At POMH we understand that a strict focus on the financial bottom line and forgetting we are all part of the human family struggling through this world together doesn’t provide the balance needed for happiness.
We are truly blessed and fortunate to live in such a great area. Our country, our state, our people, have provided us with the opportunities to help make the world a better place. We try to help our neighbors close to home through donations to Tabita’s Way food pantry in Spanish Fork and helping the homeless in Salt Lake through donations to Care Cuts.
On a national level, we make donations to the Boy Scouts of America, and in order to help those distant neighbors in other countries less fortunate than ours we have help support the Water Alliance for Africa and Hope World Wide Utah.
We invite you remember and help our neighbors who may be in need. You may not be in the situation to help anyone else right now, but that will change. Your life will turn around and you will be in a position to help others. Life has a way of doing that. It goes down, but it goes up again too. As you keep pressing forward, doors will open for you. Les Brown encourages us “We must look for ways to be an active force in our own lives. We must take charge of our own destinies, design a life of substance and truly begin to live our dreams”
